When the weather is bad, my little dogs sometimes have accidents in the house. This stuff works really well when you use it to remove a fresh stain and I found a way to use it that removes old stains really well too! and some Nature's Miracle Carpet Shampoo) on the stained area. Then, while the carpet is still damp, I put this urine killer in a spray bottle and spray THOROUGHLY onto the soiled area until well saturated! Note: Fresh out of the bottle, this formula smells slightly fresh, but while it's lying on the carpet and the enzymes are busy eating all the dirt, it sometimes smells a bit like pets. It will disappear after a few days when the product stops working. If the smell lingers I use Nature's Miracle Carpet Shampoo with Carpet Cleaner on top and it goes away instantly! I also only ever use Nature's Miracle products for my carpets. If you've tried other brands first, your results may vary due to chemical reactions. The wonder of nature has always helped me the best!
