I recently noticed that when we travel with my boyfriend, we rarely take photos together. I'm not interested in photos taken with a selfie stick, so I decided to look for other options. I stumbled across this cell phone tripod adapter and realized I already have one of those small flexible leg tripods that can be used for a handheld camera and it fits perfectly. I was worried that I would have trouble installing it on my iPhone 5s or my friend's iPhone 6s, but it fits both! (And not to mention we didn't have to remove our phone cases, which is a huge plus!) The end of the adapter that isn't connected to the tripod slides up to accommodate any phone. It's hard to tell from the photos that this is the case as it looks like a solid piece of plastic, but when the top is lifted it adjusts to the size of your phone. It's not very difficult to set up, but it also won't let go (or drop) your phone until you physically pull it out. It is also lightweight and perfect for any backpack as it takes up almost no space. Once my phone is plugged into the adapter (and the adapter is already on a tripod), I bend my legs and cling to any nearby bench, tree, rock, etc. The iPhone 5s (and many others I'm sure) have a camera timer, so I set it up, stand in my seat and take a picture. Now I take it on vacation so we can take beautiful, scenic photos of us together when we go for walks or travel. I would definitely recommend it to all travellers; Whether you're traveling alone or in a group, it will help you capture amazing photos that will help you remember and revisit your trip.
