Review on πŸ‘ VELPEAU Thumb Support Brace: Optimal Occupational Health & Safety for Osteoarthritis by Christopher Bates

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Broke after 4 days

My husband has arthritis in his thumb which has managed to get out of the joint. He was prescribed a high quality corset for $100 which really helped. Unfortunately he lost it and urgently needed a replacement. Delivery of another brand should take a week, and this one - 2 days. So I took the risk and ordered a product that had no reviews at the time. My husband said he's no more comfortable than expensive braces and does what he's supposed to do. There was also a second set of velcro straps in the packaging that needed to be replaced when the current one stopped working and he was concerned about another shackle which wore out after a few months of wearing. Unless that strut broke at some point. In the near future I can only say good things about him. Highly recommended. UPDATE: Received September 16th. On September 20, the hard plastic cap that sits on his thumb split in two. My rating has been changed to reflect this. Too bad. Seems to be a good product.

Pros
  • Hand and wrist braces
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
