This is a product that I really need/need for work, but so far I haven't had complete success. It plays .wav files from memory very well with good fidelity, but I have yet to get it to record via the line-in jacks. Editor: I was able to contact Matt from AudioInjector through their forum at forum.audioinjector.net and he was more than helpful in giving me advice on what to try and eventually sending me a new board that was ready to go. This may be the only RPi device available that has both an ADC and DAC. Most inexpensive USB audio adapters only have a DAC. I needed a way to use the RPi to burn .wav files from my vinyl collection (why would I?). It's really good for that. I am running the AudioInjector through a moving magnet preamp, a RIAA EQ connected to my turntable which uses a Shure M97xe cartridge and the resulting .wav file sounds amazing. It takes a bit of setup, but you'll learn a lot in the process, and you can find all the information on the forum. In particular, check out the install and install thread and the vinyl reset thread for tips on how to get the most out of this gadget. The combination of a great device, fantastic customer service and a really affordable price makes it an absolute must have for a Raspberry Pi user. .
