Natural Hair Mask Shampoo

I'm always looking for natural alternatives to the things we use every day, not because I avoid chemicals but because I have sensitive skin. Many different brands cause horrible rashes and flaking on my skin, so I carefully look for gentle alternatives. Over the years I've used everything from salon brands (cousins own a hair salon) to natural hold shampoos and hair products. dries, the color fades and, of course, falls out faster than it should. I thought that maybe it was the shampoo that made my hair fade when dyed or fell out in clumps in the shower, but I couldn't find anything natural to replace the store-bought shampoo. I found a tik tok about someone with nice hair using arita powder and did some research to find out that the arita powder comes from the soapberry. So I ordered both to try and conclude that I think they are the same as far as I can tell, or at least get the same result on my hair. I mix 1 tsp. Soapberry powder with 2 tsp. thick paste and add a few teaspoons of warm water to the mixture and pour it over my hair. I don't work it out but rather massage the scalp and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing off. After that, I still need to condition and use leave-in, which is normal for my curly hair. What I've noticed is less hair falling out in the shower because the drain doesn't clog as quickly, my color doesn't fade as quickly, and my hair even has a shine now. I didn't think this powder would cleanse my scalp but it works better than shampoo. I do not use heat, hairspray, gel or styling products. It seems to work well for my hair and I recommend it to others, but be prepared, it doesn't feel like a regular shampoo!
