I have oily, acne-prone skin. It saves my face from being soaked in oil all day. I usually have to apply it twice and it takes care of me all day. It reduced the redness of my acne that was healing, which was a nice benefit that I wasn't expecting. The best thing about this astringent compared to others is that it smells good. I can't stand other astringents, the pleasant smell of lemon versus sulfur or menthol. I don't mind using it in public. It's pretty easy to apply, just dab on a cotton swab and apply. If, like me, you like having a little stubble in your beard, just check your mirror for any leftover frizz.
