Went like clockwork!
I bought this key fob for a used 2005 Chevy Cobalt that my daughter bought. The car came without a key fob. We needed it because the intruder alarm system didn't work without a key fob. If all the doors had not been locked manually, the horn would have sounded. We took the fob to where we bought the car and they programmed it. Now everything works great! Make sure you are ordering the correct part number for the vehicle.
