Review on Sokani Bi Color 2800K 10000K Photography Recording by Isaiah Boys

I will mainly talk about the RGB aspect of this light as it has almost all the same features as the x60 v2 but in that sense this light is amazing! As you can see from the photos, there are RGBAW chips on the fixture. Amber and white chips bleed colors (a trait you only see on more expensive lights) and also have a magenta/green shift. It has a very wide CCT range from 2800k to 10000k, most other lights only work up to 8500k and can be controlled with your original Sokani remote (not included in this kit). Due to the arrangement of the RGB chips, you don't get a hotspot in the middle when using the supplied reflector, which is pleasantly surprising. They've moved the DC jack down from the back of the unit (great redesign), removed the on/off toggle switch, and added a second control knob to cycle through modes. The app integration is a welcome addition to this light and getting started is pretty easy as they include a QR code in the manual. In the app you have CCT, HSI, RGAW and Effect mode. Now I've discovered something I haven't seen anyone talk about before, when in Effects mode you have more than one light in the same group and channel, that light will automatically turn on all the other lights and sync the settings with Effects mode until you change the Group (including non-RGB Sokani lights). Also keep in mind that this Powerson light is different from the original X60. When I first received the device I thought it wouldn't work, but you have to press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the display turns on to turn on the light, so be careful. Not sure if that matters to you either, but the branding on the case has been mysteriously removed from this device, not sure why (see last image). Aside from that, it's the same great light you love and works with all your favorite Sookani accessories, including the battery plate. I would definitely recommend this lamp and will be adding more to my kit in the future.
