Wow how happy I was with this handset! Why? It has two BIG features that solve the main problem of inflating the tire: The valve stem is brass and angled outwards. the handle must be pulled firmly to the side in order to attach the air hose to the nozzle. The rubber rod is stretched on one side and additionally pressed against the relatively sharp edge of the hole in the rim. Basically, when lifting the stem, you try to damage it in two different ways. The pre-bent brass stem solves both problems. 1, It is angled outward so that the air nozzle connects to the side without forcing the shaft; 2. Since the shank is made of brass, it will not be affected by cutting or shearing from the hole in the rim. Fabulous!
