Review on Enhance Your Gaming Experience With The Razer Ergonomic Wrist Rest Pro: Cooling Gel Infused, Anti-Slip Rubber Base, And Angled Incline For Full-Sized Keyboards In Classic Black by Margaret Ford

Nice gel wrist pad and it does keep you COOL! Kinda expensive.

Got this wrist pad for a new full size and rather large mechanical keyboard, Thermaltake Level 20. Back in the old days I use to use the 3M gel wrist pads. I was looking for something new. Razer is a good gaming brand and purchased this based on the reviews. The "cooling gel infused" sounded like a gimmick. But there is some truth. Every time I use it for the first time, it does feel cool to the touch. It's a nicely built item. Has a sturdy plastic base with rubber feet. Construction feels solid, doesn't feel cheap. It is also angled which I think helps with ergo. The old, early days gel wrist were not angled and sat flat. There is an embossed Razer logo located in the middle of the pad but it's not visible. You can feel it so it may bother some people looking for a continuous smooth feeling. The only issue I have with it is that the material on top of the pad sometimes develop wrinkles that I have to smooth out every so often. It almost seems like air bubbles or something develop on the the pad. They do go away after you put some effort to smooth them out. I don't know if this will become an issue over time. Overall, I think it's a good item. It is expensive for a wrist pad.

Pros
  • Increases comfort and enjoyment during gameplay
Cons
  • The black color may make it difficult to find the wrist rest in low-light conditions
