Good wrist rest, but bubbles up

The wrist rest is nice and it definitely stays cool, but there will sometimes be air bubbles under the fabric and I have to push down hard on them to get them to go away. Also, this is for a full size keyboard, so it will be a little shorter than the Blackwidow V2 because the Blackwidow has 5 macro keys on the left side. Otherwise, it is a really nice wrist rest.

Pros
  • Desk Accessories & Workspace Organizers
Cons
  • The wrist rest may not be height adjustable, which could cause discomfort for some users

Razer Wrist Rest: Wrath of the front angle.

As usual, Razer never shies away from stepping up to the plate when it comes to things that it thinks the community would like, and this product is a reiteration of that point. As a wrist rest, I like it. It has a soft pleather texture and a very foamy inside that doesn't heat up when I use it and the foam is very economic to my meat mit hands. It's pretty comfy and I like using it, but not on my Blackwidow so much.Let me explain. The Blackwidow essential edition keyboard I own has an angled…

Bought To Replace Existing

I purchased this to replace my existing wrist rest that came with my Ornata Chroma keyboard. I had worn a hole in the wrist rest that came with the Chroma and was glad to find Razer manufactured replacements. This is much more comfortable than my previous wrist rest, but I've listed some pros and cons in case there are some make or break features for other purchasers:PROs:1. The cushion is firm, much more firm than the rest that came with my Ornata Chroma.2. It almost runs the full length of…

Pros
  • Good but i would like so that it would be magnetically attached to the keyboard
Cons
  • Wish this was more comfortable.

Comfortable and high quality. but it doesn't stay in place

This is one of the softer wrist wrests I have used, so I give it 5 stars for comfort. However, it slides around. I have tried using it on my desk surface as well as my large gaming mousepad, but it slides around regardless of the surface it is on. It would probably stick best to a glass surface. I used some tape to keep it in place, so I took a star off for this rating. Otherwise, it's a great product!

Pros
  • Nice I bought this with the mini keyboard at the same time and both work well.
Cons
  • The wrist rest may be too firm for some users who prefer softer support

Looks great, could be a little thicker

I went with this wrist rest because it matches my Razer keyboard perfectly. Has a great feel to it, seems a little higher quality than some. However, I can’t give it 5 stars because I feel like it should be just a little thicker to elevate your wrists more. With that being said I haven’t noticed any strain on my wrists since I got it so it’s doing it’s job.

Pros
  • Can improve your overall health and wellbeing
Cons
  • The angled incline may require readjustment for users who switch between typing and gaming frequently

Buyer's Remorse Wrist Rest

I have a BlackWidow keyboard. The wrist rest that came with the keyboard started peeling make it very uncomfortable to use. I bought the wrist rest pro in hope that it would be better than the old one. I am so disappointed with the product that costs almost twice as much as other brands. The front angle of the wrist rest does not sit right with the keyboard. The wrist rest sits far back from the BlackWidow and my palms can only rest about 30% of the overall area. It baffles me that Razer sells…

Pros
  • Compatible with most keyboards on the market
Cons
  • The black color may make it difficult to distinguish the wrist rest from the keyboard itself

Decent build and ergonomics, crappy quality

Straight out of the box the cover fabric was pulled out of place and exposing the foam. While it feels like it would be a nice wrist rest, the way the fabric is 'secured', or lack thereof, shows me that this will happen sooner than later. Returned.

Pros
  • ‎Black
Cons
  • The gel may cause allergic reactions or skin irritation in some users

Mouse wrist pad doesn’t match keyboard pad

Keyboard pad is excellent. Nice feeling leatherette. The mouse-sized pad is made of a completely different material and they don’t match at all. Much less comfortable to the touch. Disappointed with the mismatch.

Pros
  • Features a sleek design that complements any gaming setup
Cons
  • The anti-slip base may get dirty or dusty and lose its gripping ability

The one that should be included by default

This is ALMOST what the wrist rest should be. The fake leather one looks nice, but it gets sticky from just a little sweat, and over time the surface degrades. This one is designed to be more comfortable in use, and to hold up better. It is the same size as the other one, so it is a direct replacement. I would recommend this one with one important caveat: it doesn't have magnets in it, so it may move around on you instead of sticking right in place like the original does. It is possible to open

Pros
  • Ergonomic design helps reduce strain on your hands and wrists
Cons
  • The anti-slip base may leave a residue on some surfaces after prolonged use

I bought an Ornata Chroma that came with a companion wrist rest with magnets that bonded the wrist rest with the Keyboard. When that wore out after only a year I bought this as a replacement. This rest is just as comfortable, actually more so, but I am disappointed that it does not have the magnets the original wrist rest did. I wouldn't say that it hurts gameplay or typing, but having to constantly adjust it with the keyboard is a bit of a drag after a while, especially if you are used to the…

Pros
  • Helps prevent wrist fatigue and discomfort
Cons
  • The wrist rest may not stay in place and may shift around during use

Comfortable and breathable wrist support

I decided on this after the previous rest I had wore out as it was $10, the same price as the other random brands. Build quality is nice. No funny business or weird curvature, just a rectangle that will fit just about any computer setup. It supports my wrist perfectly and the pain I was experiencing while waiting for it to come subsided within 15 minutes of unboxing it.The actual feel of the foam is excellent. It is stiff, but not hard. The outer material is soft and comfortable and breathes…

Pros
  • Provides ample support for your wrists and forearms
Cons
  • The wrist rest may not be durable enough to withstand frequent or heavy use

Got this wrist pad for a new full size and rather large mechanical keyboard, Thermaltake Level 20. Back in the old days I use to use the 3M gel wrist pads. I was looking for something new. Razer is a good gaming brand and purchased this based on the reviews. The "cooling gel infused" sounded like a gimmick. But there is some truth. Every time I use it for the first time, it does feel cool to the touch. It's a nicely built item. Has a sturdy plastic base with rubber feet. Construction feels…

Pros
  • Increases comfort and enjoyment during gameplay
Cons
  • The black color may make it difficult to find the wrist rest in low-light conditions

Impressive on my review.

Razer has wrist pads that come with their higher end keyboards that connect to them through magnets and are made from a pleather material that wears a little too quickly. This is not like those. It doesn't make a magnetic fit to any of their keyboards I have but it is a more universal size that seems to fit well with any keyboard I have tested it on. The material is not pleather but sort of has a pajama like cotton feel to it. With a very strong cooling gel underneath the tightly stretched…

Pros
  • Adds a professional touch to your gaming setup
Cons
  • The wrist rest may not be washable or easy to maintain

It's not bad, but it is way too short, height-wise

If you own a mechanical keyboard, I wouldn't recommend this since it is not tall enough at 0.75 inches to support your wrist without having to hyper-extend your wrist backwards. Returning this

Pros
  • ‎17.51 x 3.55 x 1.04 inches
Cons
  • The black color may clash with some users' decor or color schemes

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's not bad, but not great

It's not very comfortable, being a very firm foam. The height is ok, but could be a few min shorter. The rubber on the bottom keeps it in place about 90% of the time, but could have been thicker/softer for a more secure hold on Razer mats.

Pros
  • Ideal for both casual and competitive gaming
Cons
  • The wrist rest may be too high for users who prefer a lower profile setup
