My air conditioner is 28x28 at the top and has a big ledge in the middle so I enlarged it to 32x32. It was the right choice. I had to turn it while putting it on but I have to say it works! We don't have a problem with leaves, but this works great. No, we have a lizard problem. Before we got this, my heart would break several times a week if someone fell into a fan or got too close to me. Now that it's on, they can't reach the fan. It's literally a lifesaver and I'm very grateful for that. Worth every penny!
