The Dove Concentrate Refills Daily Moisture Starter Kit is a great idea for reducing plastic waste. I applaud Dove for doing this step for the environment. I can reuse the same bottle until the pump breaks and this saves a lot of plastic waste. Easy to use, just twist the refill to the top of the bottle and the concentrate will automatically flow into the big bottle. I like to add some water to the concentrate bottle to rinse it out and get the last bit of concentrate left inside. I use Brita filtered water instead of tap water but I don’t think it makes much of a big difference. Since it’s so easy to refill, even my mom can do it with her shaky hands without making a big mess. I recommend filling the water half way first, put the pump back then shaking it because once the water is filled up to the recommended line, it’s a bit more difficult to get a good mix. The Daily Moisture scent smells great, leaves a pleasant light scent on my skin hours after showering. I don’t feel any dryness after using it. The consistency is a bit thinner than your average Dove body wash but it’s a good consistency that won’t run off your palm immediately. Lathers well and washes well. I found some Dove concentrate refills on Walmart selling for $26 for 4 refills which I find much pricier than buying the regular Dove body wash since one refill only make 16 ounces of body wash. 4 stars.
