My device only lasted about 300 seconds overall before it stalled. The load was only 2 ounces and required 6 inches of travel. Worked well the first day of assembly and testing. Then after I came back to use it 3 days later it was completely locked. I replaced another NEMA17 stepper motor and it worked great so my controller and electrics are fine. I tried to manually start the engine after disconnecting it and at first it didn't spin at all. At the end he began to turn, but slowly and with serious resistance. Extremely disappointed. UPDATE: After reading my review, the manufacturer responded directly and immediately and worked with me to understand my use case. They got in touch and sent me a replacement device. It's great customer support and I look forward to a working device.
