The coiled cable is perfect for connecting to my GPS without the cable hanging all over the dashboard. The problem is that I left my GPS on the dashboard in the scorching sun and heard a suction cup detach from the base and fall to the floor of my car, disconnecting the metal pins that go into my GPS from the cable itself became. . I'm hoping by ordering a different cable and making sure my GPS doesn't get under the heat of a window during the day when not in use that the cable will work or rather last longer than 2 months.
