Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Optimize Performance: New Balance FuelCell Propel V1 Women's Running Shoe by Janet Harris

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great responsive shoe for runners

I've been in the market looking for a replacement brand of running shoe that won't fatigue my runner's knee. So far Brooks Levitate v1 and v2 have been great. These Propel v1 shoes have more spring/energy return in the midsole than any of my Levitates, which is perfect for me as I'm a neutral runner who has knee pain from years of running on tarmac. I give one star for the fit, I have a solid 7.5 in the women's running shoes and they fit snugly on the toes with my toes touching the top of the shoe. I can leave them on because they aren't tight enough to cause long-term problems, but it's still noticeable. I'm not familiar with the durability of New Balance running shoes either, but given their popularity, I'm hoping to put in many miles in these little shoes. * UPDATE - Issued 01/13/20. The first two runs were uncomfortable because the toes were a bit numb, but by the fourth run they are warming up nicely. I have not worn them for walking and do not intend to, so cannot comment on long-term comfort as an everyday walking shoe.
