My 12 year old 3# toothless Yorkie scratched her skin almost bare with a food allergy to chicken and is the first brand to have bites small enough for her to eat without teeth. She was on medication (dermatologist) last year which really helped, but we've had the most noticeable improvement with this food. She started eating it as soon as I put it in her bowl and the scratching subsided so much that her doctor recommended reducing the amount of her medication. She still licks her paws, but a lot less. We bought the canned version but she only eats it when the dry one isn't available. Not a bird, little pieces that she greedily chews and hardly scratches. victory for all. Highly recommended.
