My husband and I tried these socks on to see if they fit. We tried the XL sock. It didn't fit my 10.5" women's height but was perfect for its 13" height. Since the sock didn't fit me, I share my husband's opinion about it. My husband really liked these socks. He only had good things to say about her. What he liked best about this sock was that he didn't think it would fit his foot. It stretched when put on and fitted his foot perfectly. He liked the way it felt on his leg. He does NOT need a sock to pinch his foot. This sock does NOT pinch the foot. His feet could move freely in the sock. He wore them to work. He wears steel-toed boots. They worked great. The top is thinner. The bottom of the sock is thicker. To wash them, I threw them in the washing machine with other white people. Then I threw them in the dryer. They have been washed and dried very well. Dress feet as before washing. What made me try these: They're made of bamboo. We try to be more sustainable in our home. Using bamboo products is one of our options.
