Review on 🚦 JDM ASTAR 3030 Chipset Switchback LED Bulbs: Ultra Bright White/Yellow 3157 3155 3457 4157 with Projector for Turn Signal Lights by Benjamin Glasper

These #3157 dual white/amber LED bulbs are really GREAT! Adds a very bright xenon white (6500K) at 1500lm DRL to a vehicle without DRL. In addition, yellow/yellow LEDs also have a luminous flux of 1200 lm; that is about three times more than a standard lamp 3157 (400 lm). Normal operation White Daytime Running Lights (DTRL) feature. Turn Signal Amber/Flashing Amber On/Light and Off/Dim; which produces a bright, high-contrast flashing light. Now just turn on the parking lights during the day and now you have DRLs and side markers. Headlights are not required for safety reasons. Another good news in the design of these 3157 LED bulbs are the wire contacts; These are thicker/flatter wires that make very good firm contact with the connector's pins. The problem [IMHO] with most automotive LED lights is the wire contacts; they are too thin/fragile and do not provide full contact; thus the lamp loses contact, becomes intermittent and appears to have failed. Those thin/fine wires used for the pins in those other LED bulbs [IMHO] are the result of single focus engineering. LED lamps consume less electricity, so the contact wires can be smaller: NO! The main purpose of lamp contact wires is contacting; and JDM aStar got it right with these #3157 Switch-Back White/Yellow LED Lights - and that's how I see it with my RHF LED Lights.
