I installed these two lights this morning in about 30 minutes. About half that time was spent removing the old, totally lame, lights and (and this is VERY important), figuring which breaker shut off power to the lights. Really, shut off the power. Lights are not worth your life. At least MOST lights aren’t. These are LED lights. There are no big bulbs to screw in. Inside there are dozens of small little LEDs in an array. Just pull off the old fixture, wirenut white to white and black to black, connect the ground and, boom. Be sure to read the directions as there is a small amount of pre assembly you have to do before you put the light up. After you install the light turn it on before you put on the acrylic cover. There is a small switch to set the light temperature. There are 5 setting from cool to warm. That’s pretty awesome. These lights put out plenty of light. They nicely light up our dark basement hallway.
