Review on 🌧️ Wasserstein Weatherproof 16ft/5m Outdoor Cable for Arlo Pro & Arlo Pro 2 (White) by William Hilzer

This cable powers your Arlo Pro with the wall adapter that came with your camera and securely attaches when not using an official outdoor mount. However, with an external mount, the round fit around the screw-on portion of the external mount interferes with the cable connector, preventing a secure connection from being obtained. Even when I thought the connector was firmly inserted into the camera, it wasn't (the camera wasn't charging). I really didn't want to keep trying to plug the camera in at an angle because the round connector was in the way, so I just went back to battery power. I understand the design of the micro USB cable end and the need to make it waterproof for the camera, but it's a shame it can't really connect securely to the camera with the official external mount. Updated 05/14/17. As mentioned in the comments, there are two versions of the official Arlo outdoor rig. The older version appears to have a larger diameter round plastic thread at the base of the mount that prevents the larger plug on the Wasserstein cable from being fully inserted into the Arlo Pro camera. It looks like Revain is selling a newer version of the office outdoor mount with a smaller diameter round threaded plastic mount that doesn't interfere with the connection of the 20ft Wasserstein cable that's attached to the Arlo Pro camera.
