🌧️ Wasserstein Weatherproof 16ft/5m Outdoor Cable for Arlo Pro & Arlo Pro 2 (White) Review

Terrible cable design, wasn't aware when ordering, if you look at the product image you can see the cable is shaped like an "L" making it impossible to ARLO to anything to attach. Also 1 of the two cables I ordered DOA! In addition, a barley fork is inserted into the back of the Arlo. This cable is a piece of junk, avoid it at all costs. I've attached an image comparing this cable to the cable that comes with the Arlo.

This is a great way to never have to charge your Arlo Pro battery again. If it worked. But that's not the case. The connector is never stuck in the camera and disconnects in seconds. I checked to see if this could be the end of the camera connection by plugging in the cable that came with my Arlo Pro. It's stuck and loading. Update 7/14/18: I needed another external connector for an additional camera I bought after installing the original security system. When the order arrived there was no AC plug in the box, just a 16 inch cord. I'm using the connector that came with the camera with a Wasserstein cable and it's working well so far. This cable was the answer to all my Arlo problems. Apparently I had to change the settings on my Arlo Pro 2 camera frequently, and as any owner of this system knows, the basic settings can only be changed when the camera has AC power. Charged my Arlo Pro once. The battery failed to charge on the second try. After reconnecting the camera, I was able to charge the battery. When I unplugged the cable from the camera, the whole connector fell apart. There may be an error in the assembly of this cable. This cable powers your Arlo Pro with the wall adapter that came with your camera and securely attaches when not using an official outdoor mount. However, with an external mount, the round fit around the screw-on portion of the external mount interferes with the cable connector, preventing a secure connection from being obtained.
