These are designed to add an extra layer of protection to the iPhone 12 lenses. They are easy to install and stay in place. I haven't tested them for scratch resistance as I don't have any consumer reports. However, common sense dictates that if you're active and tend to abuse your phone, it's not a bad idea to have an extra layer of protection on your lens. I find the quality excellent. And you couldn't ask for a more responsive company. Although given to me by the company to review, I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
