Color not as advertised

I am very disappointed with the colour, the web photo showed a lovely light lavender colour, not Barney's purple. Haven't tried this yet, but I'm a big fan of wet brushing to detangle frizzy hair after the shower. My barber uses something similar when blow drying, so I'm hoping to get the same results.
