It's good for simple lines and designs, but you can't take a crumpled shirt out of the dryer and hope it works. It will not. You can't rely on it for cuffs or collars or other stitches that aren't very easy (like ironing the armpits of a shirt or down the sides of a pair of pants). It's good for traveling but you need to get your shirts mended. before you go and only use it for fine tuning. :(It works fine on cotton and linen, but I wouldn't risk it on silk or wool. And when vaping, it makes a funny noise, like a toy car's engine. And in some positions, it leaks and you won't be happy with hot water on your hands. Nothing special in general. Just a compromise.
