We have just completed a kitchen renovation and needed 4 stools to sit at the kitchen island counter and use them for informal meals. Since we had invested most of our spare money in the renovation, I was looking for an inexpensive seating option that would be comfortable and blend in well with the space. These stools meet all my needs; I wanted a swivel stool that was height adjustable and had a backrest to make it more comfortable to sit on than a stool without a backrest. These stools fit perfectly and I also love the diamond design that mirrors the tile pattern in my kitchen. Apron. The gray color is in harmony with the countertop, but not too much, and the price is very affordable. I checked some local furniture stores and found they didn't have what I wanted and what they cost was the same as what I paid for all 4 of these stools. Assembly was very easy, although one of the stools was missing a plastic bag. with screws, base cover and Allen key. We probably had the screws in our inventory of mounts, but we decided to contact the seller because we also needed a base cap. The seller responded quickly and sent the package by post, so we have now assembled and set up all four chairs. So they might not last 20 years, but I'm fine with that; My tastes change from time to time and I may want something different in the future. If you are looking for an economical stool set that would fit in a transitional/contemporary space, this would be a great option for you.
