These toothpaste tablets are ideal for backpackers. My hygiene kit consists of a small removable toothbrush in a small case containing a tiny, hotel-sized tube of toothpaste. One tube lasts me for about 3-4 days when used very sparingly. I've been taking these pills as an alternative and have been very happy with them so far. The taste is actually quite good. I don't like anything too minty, but these were delicious. I tested one at home by chewing on it with a fairly dry mouth and they dissipated quickly. While not as gritty as regular toothpaste consistency, they cleaned my teeth and left my breath pretty fresh. I put 7 of these in a very small 1" x 1" ziplock bag and they fit perfectly in my Zpacks toothbrush case with the toothbrush itself. These pills make refilling really easy and save me a few grams.
