Good alternative to the pubic cone
A small man had surgery for a stomach ulcer and had to spend several weeks in the cone to avoid cutting him up. It was much more comfortable for him than the Elizabethan collar the vet gave us. He can eat and drink with no problems. This allows him to lick his back and front paws a bit. So if you try to stop your pet from doing this, it won't work. Be sure to use a watch the first time you use it to make sure your pet can't get to their wound.
