Review on ๐Ÿงค High-Performance Smartwool Unisex Liner Glove in Black: Maximum Comfort and Versatility by Daniel Pyfer

Buy 100% wool lining cheaper elsewhere.

If you're looking at this product, it's because of one of two things: 1) You have Smartwool socks and you trust give them your money. 2) You are looking for a pair of quality wool linings and have heard good things about Smartwool. Well, I suggest just getting the $7 100% wool gloves found elsewhere at Revain. These gloves, while they look nice, aren't warm and almost not woolly (not very important, not why you all came here, but the warm part probably got your attention). The main part of the glove is 48% wool and the fingers are mostly polyester, making these gloves almost ineffective on their own. The wind passes through them and the heat escapes faster than water through the grille. I've paired them with several other pairs of gloves using them as liners and they work well at best. The bottom line is that you can get the best gloves for a fraction of the price. I would return mine, but I'm a compulsive label cutter.

Pros
  • Material: 46% Merino Wool, 46% Acrylic, 8% Elastane
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something
