Nice computer gloves

They definitely run big, especially on the fingers. I usually wear large ones with women's gloves so based on other reviews I ordered medium ones. The fit around the palm was ok, but the fingers were too long. I gave them to my husband. He wears them to work: his office is cold and he works on the computer, so he usually wears fingerless gloves in the winter. But they have enough dexterity that he can wear them while typing and keep his whole hand warm. So for this reason 4 stars. Edited to…

Mediocre men's gloves

I'm a fan of Smart Wool and own several pairs of socks that I really like, but these gloves are mediocre. The fit is definitely large, just a finger length. I have big hands and the large size left maybe an inch of room so I had to go back to the medium size. As far as touchscreen functionality goes, I'd say they work about half the time when tapped, they have no problem swiping. In terms of warmth, they're okay and retain body heat fairly well (note that they don't have wind protection, but…

These are fantastic gloves

After reading the reviews I was a bit nervous about the sizing of these gloves - when I buy women's gloves I ALWAYS need the large size. Based on what I read I was hoping for the best and ordered them in a size Small and I'm so glad I did. They are perfect and not tight at all! My hand measures 7 3/4 inches around the knuckles and the distance from the base of the palm to the tip of the middle finger is 7 1/2 inches (I don't have small hands!). These gloves are soft and flexible, I'm glad I…

Barely touchscreen, too bulky/fragile for use with ski gloves

I love Smartwool winter sports products so decided to give them a try despite the reviews. I was looking for something to wear under my bulky ski gloves to keep me warm while checking my phone but this didn't fit at all! First the size. I have rather large hands, I ordered size L, the fingers were too long! The rest of the glove fitted well, but the length of the fingers made the material bunch up at the fingertips and it was very difficult to do anything that required dexterity, let alone use…

Buy 100% wool lining cheaper elsewhere.

If you're looking at this product, it's because of one of two things: 1) You have Smartwool socks and you trust give them your money. 2) You are looking for a pair of quality wool linings and have heard good things about Smartwool. Well, I suggest just getting the $7 100% wool gloves found elsewhere at Revain. These gloves, while they look nice, aren't warm and almost not woolly (not very important, not why you all came here, but the warm part probably got your attention). The main part of the…
