Slightly flimsy material for foot traffic

I was a little disappointed in the fragility of the material for its intended purpose - replacing the fringes on the carpet. Although it has been announced that it can be used for this purpose, it remains to be seen whether it will withstand foot traffic. It seems that it would be more useful and durable for curtains or dresses. The time will show. It's looking good at the moment, but how long remains to be seen
