I just installed this PSU because the fan in my old PSU failed and I didn't want to replace the fan and risk the old PSU with more expensive components. This is my first modular power supply as all my previous builds have used full cables and I have never wanted to pay more for modularity before. When I opened the box, I realized that this is a high-quality device. The power supply comes in its own cloth pouch, while the cables and screws come in a zipped pouch. Before installing and routing cables inside the tower, I tested the power supply. Out of the box it worked great. There are definitely more ports than I need, leaving some room for upgrades within the power rating. When turning the computer on and off, you'll notice a click from the relay, but after that it's definitely quiet, even without turning the fan to zero. During benchmark testing of my system, I couldn't even hear the fan even though it was spinning. The extra cost is worth the easy cable routing and quiet operation of this PSU. I can definitely recommend this power supply. If I encounter any long term issues I will update this review but I expect it to be long lasting.
