I have fibromyalgia which makes me get hot easily. My sister-in-law recently visited and showed me her O2COOL fan. I ordered it myself right away. It really helped me prevent overheating. The fan in this product is designed so that when worn around the neck, a cool breeze blows straight up, cooling your face and neck. Has an adjustable chain for a necklace. Uses two AA batteries and when you use them as much as I do, they need to be changed often. Would make a lovely gift for someone with a problem like mine or a woman with menopausal hot flashes.
