Good lock. I haven't installed new locks in 20 years and was a bit confused when I first got this lock. Inside there is a small bar to unlock the lock. If you set the unlocking and try to turn the outer lock while holding the inner lock (not in the door), it will lock automatically. Then I realized that if I unlocked the outer lock and turned it while just holding the bezel, it would stay unlocked. In other words, test the installation. I almost sent it back thinking it was defective. However, it is a good castle. The only problem I think will be that it automatically unlocks when you rotate from the inside. So you can't check the condition of the lock from the inside. You can only see the direction of the nub. However, I'm happy with that.
