Cosmetics - probably the color repelled me the most. I ordered the black/grey because I've always been put off by motorcycle gear that looks too silly or flashy with colorful logos and designs. Because of this, I usually buy gear that isn't designed for motorcycles, rather gear that fits me. For example leather boots. Instead of motorcycle leather boots. Black gray looks black with a gray logo in every image I see on every website. In humans, the upper part (the back of the hand, not the palm) is actually a bluish-grey color. It's a pretty light shade. I don't know if the product has changed over time. But every black and gray image on every website is misleading. Gray bluish. The palm is black. somehow got out. But at least I prefer this minimalistic design to the newer Lite version. comfort. Comfort is what I expected. I have several tactical gloves that I have worn for years that are very similar to these in look, fit and feel. you are skinny I prefer thin for comfort and portability. Not bulky. I will say that the rigid mesh used was a little overkill. Because the gloves are thin, they are already comfortable and breathable. Compared to my work gloves, I can wear work gloves comfortably in 90 degrees Fahrenheit. I find the mesh of the Lite difficult in cooler weather. My work gloves have no mesh and I can wear them in 30 degree weather. I think the mesh should have been removed to have more 3 season gloves. The stiff mesh material is also a little rough, but I'm getting used to it. It doesn't matter much. This provides the dexterity I need, but there is some extra material on some of my fingertips. It can be clumsy to handle some items like cards, but there's nothing wrong with that. My size is correct. Update 4/22/21 The extra fabric on the tips is a little finicky but not too much. Sometimes I have a few extra attempts to get a card from my wallet. never mind However, the touchscreen fabric on the tips is a joke. They never work for me with a touch device. I find myself sticking my thumb out (instead of fully removing my glove) to use the touchscreens. My duty gloves have an advantage over this one. As for the weather, I can wear my work gloves in 40F. 51°F is my limit due to the mesh. The fabric of my work gloves is just as thin but the problem is that the Lite gloves are already thin and breathable and the mesh is not necessary and doesn't allow them to be used in much cooler weather. Durability - I don't know yet. I'm not looking for thick, soft gloves that will withstand falls. I just want gloves that will stand up to normal use. A common use for me is to wear them while riding, take them off and put them in my pocket or somewhere on the bike. In fact, this is my reason for buying the Lite. The work gloves I buy have everything I want except durability. For some reason the stitching tears during normal use. I was looking for gloves that were similar to my work gloves but more durable. If the Lite lasts a while with normal use, I'll consider it valuable and put its "imperfections" aside. If not, I will continue to buy duty gloves. At least I don't have to change them often. And they're cheaper than Lite. updated 04/22/21. Durability is okay. I've seen some fraying at the seams, but that's nothing compared to my duty gloves. So far, Lite is what I've been looking for. Sturdy for normal use which I think I'll wear while driving and take off to put in my bag or somewhere else. Because they are thin, they fold perfectly into a back pocket. Imperceptible. And they have the comfort and agility I'm looking for. My only negatives would be the mesh, the cosmetics and the touchscreen. With a friendly touchscreen, this is the least of my issues.
