I replaced a similarly sized 1080P (2K) monitor with an LG 4K monitor to display multiple security NVRs selected by the 4K HDMI switch. The display was better than 1080P, but not in the vast majority of cases. This somewhat disappointing upgrade from 2K to 4K will be the same for any new 4K monitor, so expecting just a miraculous upgrade in video from 2K to 4K is no blow to LG. I felt the same when I switched from a 65-inch 1080P to a 65-inch 4K OLED TV. Basically, put each monitor in a different room and go back and forth between rooms and you won't be surprised that there's been a noticeable improvement. What LG did really well: -- GREAT PICTURE: Yes, the picture is great. Good honest colors and dense resolution. - EASY ASSEMBLY: The stand simply snaps into place and the base slides in and is held in place with finger tight screws. Unpacking and starting takes 5 minutes. -- DISPLAY TILT ADJUSTMENT: I was pleasantly surprised to see that I could tilt the display about 20 degrees for the most comfortable viewing angle. No height adjustment or lateral adjustment. -- VERY WIDE FOV: For practical reasons, I would never have more than a 90 degree change in field of view, and I haven't seen any change in the image at the extreme positions. -- GOOD AUTO RESOLUTION SELECT: The display has correctly selected the resolution for the input signal. As I said, I used the 4K HDMI switch to select between sources providing 1080P (1920 x 1080), 2560 x 1440 and 4K (UHD) 3840 x 2160. The monitor automatically selects the correct resolution without operator intervention. - EASY MENU: Located at the bottom center, the joystick provides an easy and quick way to access and select all the configurations available in the integrated menu, including image settings (see images). - GOOD SOUND: I chose this particular model for the cost and built-in speakers. I just wanted to hear some noise from the security cameras. It works very well and was loud enough, I turned the volume down. -- HIGH PRICE: I bought quite a few and it was a 32-inch 4K monitor with the best value for money. Easily included in the last 5% of the cost of monitors with similar characteristics. Conclusion: great picture, great automatic resolution, very simple menu navigation, built-in speakers and a great price! You can't go wrong!
