I purchased two sets of short USB-C cables for the 8 Bay Charging Station to replace a pair of micro USB cables after updating my phone and tablet. A distinctive feature of these cables is their softness. Most charging cables are so stiff that they don't want to go where you want them to, especially when unplugged. They lie straight or you can position the heads and they stay where you put them. The connectors appear to be solid. They're a little tight when connected to the phone, but not enough to be an issue. I've had other cables where connecting and disconnecting required so much effort that I was afraid of breaking the phone jack - no problem with this set. Of the three different cable sets that connect to the dock (Micro USB, Lightning, and USB-C), this is the highest quality cable set.
