UPDATE: The company contacted me and sent a replacement. While the D-Pad is definitely better, it's still not perfect. Also, now the left joycon for swapping doesn't load. I still avoid it. It's pretty handy, but the cross is rubbish. It takes a lot of effort to get in the right direction and it doesn't even register half the time.
