Overall, I like the quality of this delicious, citrus-infused and fragranced body scrub with 100% hemp seed oil (not sure what skin benefit, if any, this ingredient provides or if it's a new fad) and pure herbal extracts. it appears to be good for the skin all-around, and a plus that the exfoliant of walnut shell powder is on the gentle side, as the "scrubbing" factor (particularly use of walnuts) can be harsh on the skin. It smells great -- all kinds of citrus and some recognizable skin nutrients/protectants in the ingredients list (if you can read it, as the label is a bit on the microscopic side). Ingredients matter to me because of my extreme skin allergies.It does what it claims, but the lotion aspect of it is quite sticky to the touch, not on the smooth or silky side. On the downside, I have the same complaint as some reviewer(s). The jar came nicely shrink-wrapped and sealed, but due to heat during shipping (NOT the manufacturer's fault) pressure built up in the jar and product seeped out of the lid between the shrink wrap and outside of the jar. It was a bit of a slimey mess. The real surprise was when I opened the jar. Like other reviewers, my jar was only half full at best. A 7 oz jar of that size should be full of product to the top. I have plenty of creams in jars of this weight that come full, never half-full, as the jars should be. It didn't appear as though this was a return, but more that the company shortchanges the contents. it may even be that they are counting 7 oz as the total weight of the jar and product together, which is bad marketing. Therefore, there is very little product for me to test, and when the jar is empty I will not purhase more due to this experience. My 3 stars is solely for the quality of the product itself, and not the fact that the jar was only partially full or overheated in shipping. The Post Office, Fed Ex, and UPS do not have air conditioned delivery trucks, so the current heatwave across the U.S. will have an impact on shipping items like this that I don't blame on the manufacturer.
