If you're looking for something you can safely call "high quality" I'd suggest spending a little more, but for the price this mic stand is great value. I've seen a lot of comments about this stand's ability to work with the Blue Yeti. Personally, I've placed my Blue Yeti face up on a mic stand and it doesn't slide down or overload the product. Overall, the quality isn't all that different from the shackles you see on an entry-level articulating table lamp. It works, and for the price it would be perfectly reasonable to buy a new one if it breaks sometime in the future, but it's good enough for now.
