I bought it to connect to my old MacBook Air when I travel for work. I couldn't get it to work with the cables that came with it and the seller said it wouldn't work for my particular laptop and OS (Monterey 12.3.1). However, I bought an additional adapter and was able to connect it without any problems. Here's what I bought - a 4K Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. Again, it works like a champ. I only gave 4 stars because the sound quality is poor and I had to buy an adapter. Otherwise I had no problems with my old MacBook Air.
