Good for large mugs, gives peace of mind
We used regular mug hooks to hang the mugs and it was too easy to knock one off and break it. These are nice and big mug handles and the protective tab will ensure we don't have any more tragic accidents! We don't take them off very often, so I'm not too concerned about the tongue becoming loose or bending too much. The tongue was quite stiff when new and it took some effort to get the grips into the hooks. I don't know if I need these mugs for the everyday mugs we use: we keep them in the closet.
