As I began installing our new dishwasher, I noticed that the standard hose that came attached to the dishwasher already had a rubber connector that was used to connect to the garbage was laid out. Disposal. I thought I wasted my money on this because I figured I wouldn't need it with this new hose with a built in connector. However, the new dishwasher hose was too long, so I had to cut off the drain connector to shorten the hose. It saved us a lot of time to have it on hand!
