I often wonder if different people get different products. This is a great shower curtain. The pads fit together perfectly. The weight is enough to hold the curtain without magnets, but it won't fold up on its own. Best of all, with no magnets on the bottom, there are no seams along the bottom of the curtain for mold to grow; the water simply rolls off unhindered. Whenever I've had mold on previous shower curtains, it's always been on the bottom seam. There was no powder with or on the curtain that I received. The smell is the same as the smell of a new car and it's already gone. I took the photos right after the shower, so the curtain is wet in the photo, but if I hadn't taken the photo right away I would have forgotten. The photo shows that there are no seams in the lower corner of the curtain.
