Not all laptops are the same and the laptop air intake is not in the same place, for example my old Dell Inspiron 17r had the air intake on the bottom of the Laptops, in the left front area. But on my new Alienware 15, the fan intake is on the back and also on the bottom of the laptop, but runs all the way across the back. Therefore, a cooler does not work on all laptops. It takes a few minor tweaks to make this one of the best coolers you can get. Firstly, the surface on which the laptop rests must be mesh or mesh, meaning it must have many holes for airflow. In order for your laptop's internal fans to get adequate airflow, the company could make the entire mesh surface and that would be great. But at least with a drill you can customize this cooler to your needs and specifically to your laptop. Just make sure you drill enough holes for air to flow through. The fan on this cooler is useless for all practical purposes and purposes, it's a small fan compared to others and sits right in the middle rather than in a recess so this one flat and far away like some coolers that can exhaust air is the bottom of your laptop, as is the case with laptop legs. So instead of blowing air for your laptop to use, it just blows air in. Circle with a diameter of 80 mm exactly in the middle. It would be great if your laptop's air intake was right in the middle, but most of the time this isn't the case. The pad on the bottom of the cooler is attached with velcro and it's a good pad, I really like it, the mouse tray is a very nice addition. and pretty much why I got this cooler, but it flexes and creaks a bit when you put a load on it. I also see that when you pick up the tablet and turn it off, the latch that holds it in place loosens, place it in the cooler where it can be stored, and as a bonus, you can even add a mouse pad to the same one Place and place a headphone. I mention the mouse pad because the area intended for a mouse, this one is SUPER smooth. If you like it then it will be great for you and it works great with optical mice but I love something where a small change in your seating position doesn't cause your mouse to slip on the floor. Adding a mouse pad solves this problem.
