Fast shipping, well made but didn't meet my needs

unfortunately it didn't work. I wanted to connect my Motorola z2 force directly to my Samsung Xpress M105 laser printer that I have installed in my car. Before purchasing this cable, I was using a printer cable that connected to my Mac via a USB port. There are no problems with this. It's fast and works flawlessly. From time to time I can't use this setting because I haven't charged my laptop. For this reason, of course, I could not print now. I needed another option. I'm pretty good with computers so I decided to give it a try. You can print directly from your phone directly to the printer. I used the printer cable I used and plugged in the USB and Type-C cable I had. (My mobile phone uses a Type-C connection.) I connected two cables and connected one end to my printer and the other to my phone. I then downloaded a printer software called "Print Share". This allows my phone to recognize the printer and vice versa. valla It worked, I was able to print straight from my phone. The reason I bought the cable I made from your company is because the length of the cable I used was very short. Only about 1.6 meters long. It was impossible to use the phone from the comfort of the driver's seat when connected to my cord. I had to change my sitting position and bend over the printer. Easy enough, but I'm talking about easier, not harder. So I bought your cable with printer connector on one end and type C on the other. The cable used is smaller and I need the length. To my surprise, after connecting the new cable, my phone didn't know I had connected the printer cable. No Answer. The application you are using also did not recognize the printer and did not recognize the connection at all. Damn. Not sure why. I think it's possible because the cable is too long to receive information. I'll test this by adding an extender between the two I used before purchasing your cable. BY THE WAY. I went back and tried again with the cables I originally used to see if it was possible. My phone is out of service. It doesn't and it worked great with the two cables I used. Your cable did not work for my application. I can't give 5 stars, but not necessarily because it's a faulty cable. I believe that maybe for this setup, a 3 foot long Mac might be all the cable needs to work properly. If that's the case then the length of cable you currently sell might not be of any use to anyone.

Pros
  • good item
Cons
  • makes me nervous
