The main reason I bought the Breeze litter box system is to control the amount of tracking outside the litter box. My husband loved the feel of the litter pellets on the wooden floor and it was almost impossible to sweep out the litter box often enough when you have three cats. These granules are NOT meant to absorb liquid, they are designed to allow urine to flow through the litter and collect in the litter box in the tray below. They absorb a small amount of urine and have an unpleasant odor. That is why it is important to put in all new pellets at least once a month. Some grains may initially stick to the legs but fall off immediately. All in all, these pellets and the Breeze system solved my problem. I also bought a WM Waste Management ODOR DIPOSER and when an order for the pellets comes up I spray this product on it and shake it. Helps until you change all the balls.
