I have a skin condition that is irritating in cold weather and purchased these heated socks for protection and comfort during the frigid Sierra winter. And they are great! Battery life on medium settings lasts most of the day and they charge fairly quickly. The socks were a bit tight at first and the heating element, which is a kind of twisted wire, felt uncomfortable. However, after washing by hand and then putting them on while they were still slightly damp, they became more comfortable. I wear them every day, they are durable and comfortable, I will definitely buy them again and highly recommend them.
