I have a Verizon Fios Gigaspeed, a G3100 router and 2 E3200 extenders. The technician installed cat5e from the ONT to the router in my lobby. I'm still not seeing the promised gig speeds. It's a whole different story along with Verizon FIOS. Hopefully that will be fixed when they come tomorrow. And now my rating. I bought 3 ethernet cables - category 6, 7 and 8 - from another supplier. This CAT 8-15 FT outperformed others, although I was told I couldn't tell the difference. My speed is 103/97 MBPS. I have 46/32 hardwired to a 6 coil router. Moral of the story, I will go back and buy more CAT 8 from this vendor and I will have a Verizon tech replace the 5e cable he got from installed ONT with this CAT 8 Ethernet cable to the router.
