These lights were easy to install, super-bright, and made the car feel safer while driving. They were easy to install and fit well. So two thumbs up for the product itself.The only problem -- that I can't find mentioned in hundreds of reviews -- is that THESE ARE ILLEGAL in the U.S., and your car will fail inspection. A Motortrend Feb. 2022 article, "Shine a Little Light On," was the best explanation I found.Basically, U.S. law says that your headlamps have to remain the same kind as whatever was put in by the factory -- so if you started with halogen you're stuck with halogen for the life of the vehicle (or until the law changes). There are newer cars that are road legal with LED b/c they were approved from the factory with LEDs, but it is illegal to retrofit your car with LED headlights for road use (though it is legal for off-road use.)I really wish this had been stated somewhere -- on Ebay, in the write-up on this product, in any of the reviews -- ended up wasting a lot of time and energy because of this. I realize that there are clearly many people who have swapped these out and are happy with the results, and there are people who probably got through inspection without this being caught. But doesn't change the fact that these do not comply with U.S. law. Frustrating!Anyway, hopefully this saves other some hassle!
